Dunes Hiking and Biking

Atlantic Oaks Campground , Eastham , MA

We will be enjoying a day hike into the Thunder Bowl in the Cape Cod National Seashore and a day of biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail

This THREE day weekend will be hiking, biking, trail cooking, honing our scout s kills and having a fun weekend!

Friday night we'll arrive, get our gear unloaded, and set up . Satur day we'll have breakfast, pack lunch, hike the DUNES! DUNES!, and then head back for dinner ! Sun day we'll have breakfast, pack lunch, bike the Rail Trail, if yo u r e good maybe we’ll find the Chocolate Sparrow…, and then head back for dinner! Mon day, we’ll have breakfast, break camp, and head home , probably arriving back in Canton around noon . During our adventures Scouts should “Be Prepared” to hone their scout craft skills.

These skills may include: scout skills in general , hiking, biking, trail cooking, camp cooking, having fun, and some rank advancement while we’re relaxing at the beach and campsite , THIS WILL BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNGER SCOUTS TO ACCELERATE THEIR ADVANCEMENT and for OLDER SCOUTS TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND INSTRUCT USING THE EDGE METHOD !!!!! DON’T MISS IT!

Cost: $75 per Scout participant

Meals: Friday & Saturday meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and Sunday breakfast will be provided
